About Me

I was born in the east of the Netherlands and always stayed there. As a child I played a lot with Lego and I got the leading role in the end-of-primary-school-musical. I really enjoyed it. After that I became a bit more serious and during my secondary school I wrote some content for the school newspaper.

Then I decided that it was a good idea to study a Bachelor of Computer Science. I specialized in programming and despite I really like it as a hobby it was never my job, because I started as a lecturer in Computer Science right after my education. Ten years later I got a Master degree in education and innovation.

A few months before I celebrated my 42th birthday I decided that the time was right to find the answer to life, the universe and everything (pun intended). I quited, after 18 years, my (well payed) job as a teacher at higher education to do things that really sparked joy for me at this moment. Three days a week I had a payed job at a day care for authistic people where I help them to enjoy the perks of autism: Creativity, dedication and thinking different. The other days of the week I do all kind of creative projects under the name Bruudt.
